BTS
rotary machine
Welcome to the BTS rotary machine's website. The
blade-thru-slot (BTS) rotary machine can be implemented as compressor, pump,
motor or combustion engine. BTS combustion engine The gasoline BTS engine promises fuel efficiencies and CO2 emissions in the same range as fuel-electric hybrid systems at a fraction of the cost and complexity. The gasoline BTS engine offers fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions comparable to Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engines currently under development, again at a fraction of the cost and complexity. The gasoline BTS engine burns 33% less fuel and produces 33% less CO2 than a comparable conventional gasoline engine. The naturally-aspirated diesel BTS uses 19% less fuel and thus emits 19% less CO2 than an equivalent turbocharged conventional diesel. The BTS engine features a separate combustion chamber which provides vast flexibility for adoption of alternative fuels, including environmentally friendly fuels such as zero-emissions biofuels and hydrogen. file) BTS compressor Despite its mechanical simplicity, the BTS compressor offers important advantages over most positive-displacement rotary compressors. The BTS compressor is lighter and provides higher output than a screw compressor of comparable size. The BTS compressor provides similar output to a vane compressor at much reduced or even zero friction. Further details are provided in the file below:
